Ankle Foot Surgery

On September 11, 2017 I went into surgery. I had a “lump” on the right side of my ankle that was growing and in pain at times. Doctors didn’t know what it was until they took it out and ran some tests on it. Turns out, it was gout. I have been getting gout attacks for the past ten plus years of my life and didn’t know about it. Not only that, but x-ray shows that I have advance arthritis surrounding my ankles and both knees. I just handled this part for now until further notice on when I can get future surgery on both my knees. My last resort is getting knee replacements and ankle replacement.

Fast forward to now, I am in a walking boot and trying to learn how to walk isn’t as easy as it seems. It sucks!
