Bible Quote of the Day

For the past year since I started to attend church with my sister, I have been reading the Holy Bible non-stop. However, I did have those times when I forgot to read the Scripture. Yet, I have to remember that the Devil will do anything possible to prevent me from learning the TRUTH and make me forget about the Bible. Without my lovely sister, I wouldn’t be here today to share with you all about Our Father’s words of wisdom. I have done a lot more reading since then and I pray for God to make sure I don’t fall asleep while reading His Words.

While I was reading a book my sister lended to me The Five Love Languages. I learned that the feeling of loving and hating the same person matches one of the verses in the Book of Luke. This quote indicates that tough love comes from loving your enemies as much as forgiving them. God hates sins, but he LOVES the sinners. Translation: We may have sinned so much in the past, but when we ask God to forgive us by praying and worshiping him, he FORGIVES us no matter what we have done. We just have to walk spiritually with him to feed our soul.

If we want forgiveness from our Father, we also must forgive others who have done us wrong. Jesus Christ died for our sins and He was the Righteous One, the only person who have never committed a single act of sin. Yet, he paid the ultimate price in order to save us. Who would do that but our Blessed Father, Our God.

My bible quote of the day:

But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also. Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back. Do to others as you would like them to do to you. (Luke 6:27-31)
